What's "EDM"?

EDM = electronic direct mail. Otherwise known as email marketing, it's where you use email as a promotional tool. Be that to people that sign up for your newsletter, or one-off promotions you send to existing customers, or just keeping in touch and providing value to people. EDM is very effective because people can read your content when they choose, and it comes to them (instead of them having to go to your website).
